I am an undergraduate student at the Jinan University - University of Birmingham Joint Institute, currently working as a research intern at Dartmouth College. I am honored to be advised by Prof. Yaoqing Yang, and I am also currently receiving guidance from Prof. Hongyi Jiang at City University of Hong Kong.
My research interests lie in learning theory, deep learning, and optimization. I am particularly interested in understanding the optimization dynamics of neural networks and sequential decision-making problems, including stochastic gradient descent under structured loss landscapes, Hessian spectral properties, and online routing under hard budget constraints.
I am interested in theoretical problems that connect optimization, learning theory, online learning, and modern deep neural networks. My recent work focuses on fine-grained analyses of training dynamics, step-size conditions, Hessian spectral phenomena, and online multi-armed bandit problems with combinatorial structure and budget constraints.

arXivOutside research, I enjoy Go, good hotels, and discovering good food, even though I am still very far from being a good cook myself. I also like playing Teamfight Tactics and chatting about games, travel, and everyday ideas that make life more interesting.
